It all began in 2001, when James Schultz was looking for a home for his sister’s family who were relocating to Saskatoon. Disappointed with the lack of quality and options available on the market, he decided to begin building homes that had the thoughtful design and integrity he desired for his own family. Joined by his longtime friend and business partner, Duane Sander, the two officially opened the doors of Selkirk Developments in 2002. Soon after, James’ sons’ Jeremy and Joel joined the company. James has since retired and Jeremy has taken over the day-to-day operations. Although Selkirk Homes has grown exponentially since its humble beginnings, the sentiment of a family run company has not changed – all staff and clients are treated like one of the Schultz/Sander clan.
